Le 2 avril 2023, Mehdi Frère a terminé le Marathon de Paris en 2:11:05. Ce temps a permis à Mehdi de terminer premier Français ! Bien que le temps de Mehdi soit extrêmement impressionnant, il n’a pas atteint son objectif et n’a pas réalisé les minimas olympiques.
