Evolving its growing software system, COROS introduces Strength Training and Custom Workout Modes

Tustin, CA, May 20, 2020 – COROS Wearables Inc., makers of endurance sports wearables, announced today a major software feature update being introduced to 3 of the brand’s core watch models. The new Strength and Training modes, will provide the ability for users to build custom workout activities including a diverse library of weightlifting and core exercises along with complex intervals for advanced running, cycling or swimming training. Users will also be offered several featured workouts from members of the COROS Pro Athlete team and their coaches.

Exciting components of the new software features include:

· Library with 200+ preloaded exercises with animations and instructions

· Auto Repetition Detection

· Muscle Heatmap – a detailed visual in the COROS app showing what muscles are being engaged and at what intensity

· Custom Workout Builder for Run, Cycle, Swim or Strength activities

· Easy workout sharing via social media, email, text and more

The new Strength and Training modes have been tested by a variety of runners and fitness enthusiasts in various conditions and settings. The features will be made available to a limited number of beta tester users after the launch event on May 20th via the link http://www.coros.com/tester.php. COROS expects the firmware update will be made public during the first week of June for VERTIX and APEX Pro users, and shortly thereafter for APEX 46mm and 42mm users.
