Continuing to innovate and evolve its software platform and mobile application, COROS is introducing 5 new features in its latest update.

Tustin, CA, January 22, 2021 – COROS Wearables Inc., makers of performance sports wearables, announced today a major software and app update. The new features and advancement of existing features comes as the brand continues to respond to the ever-evolving needs of performance athletes of all disciplines. The latest update includes 3 new software features and 2 new features to the COROS App, available for download in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

This week’s update brings the following enhancements to the COROS platform:

· Timing to the hundredth of a second (0.01) to address the needs of the track community and those who require precision timing for their speed workouts and races.

· Track Run mode added as an option for COROS custom workout programs.

· Check Points added to GPX Route Navigation – allowing users to add aid stations, meet up points or other points of interest to their routes.

· New updated map layering options in the COROS App from MapBox

· Weather info added to the workout summary page in the COROS App

The firmware update is already available via an update to the COROS App for VERTIX, APEX Pro and PACE 2 users and will be available for APEX users in the coming days.
